Shared the Cockpit with Her Father on Her First Flight

Hanna, the daughter of Southwest Airlines Captain Svein, has joined the airline as a First Officer. On her very first Southwest flight, the young pilot fulfilled a lifelong dream by sharing the cockpit with her father.

Hanna said her father introduced her to aviation when she was 15 years old, and after her first flight experience, she decided to pursue a career as a pilot. From that day on, her biggest goal was to one day fly alongside her father.

Eight years later, Hanna achieved that goal by serving on her first Southwest Airlines flight alongside Captain Svein in the same cockpit.
