SalamAir Appoints Yaqoob Al Kiyumi as New CEO
SalamAir has announced the appointment of Eng. Yaqoob bin Saif bin Hamoud Al Kiyumi as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 October 2026.
The airline said the appointment marks a new phase in its development, with a continued focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, enhancing the customer experience and strengthening SalamAir’s position within Oman’s aviation sector.
SalamAir’s Board of Directors also thanked outgoing CEO Adrian Hamilton-Manns for his leadership and contributions during his tenure. Under Al Kiyumi’s leadership, the airline aims to continue expanding affordable air travel options, strengthen connectivity between Oman and international markets, and support the country’s aviation and tourism sectors in line with Oman Vision 2040.
