RAF Hawk T2 Crashes in Wales

A Royal Air Force (RAF) BAE Systems Hawk T2 training aircraft crashed on Wednesday, September 23, shortly after taking off from RAF Valley in North Wales.

The two pilots on board reportedly ejected before the aircraft hit the ground. North Wales Police said both pilots were receiving treatment for injuries believed to be minor, while no other injuries were reported.

The RAF has launched an investigation into the crash near Anglesey. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
