PIA Opens Talks With Boeing for 16 New Aircraft

Pakistan International Airlines has opened discussions with Boeing over the acquisition of 16 new aircraft as part of the national carrier’s fleet expansion plans.

A meeting involving PIA senior management, Pakistani government officials, and Boeing representatives was held in the United States. The delegation visited Boeing’s headquarters in Washington on Thursday and met with Boeing Global President Brendan Nelson.

According to officials, significant progress was made during the talks regarding the proposed 16-aircraft deal. The two sides are evaluating the most suitable aircraft options and discussing commercial terms aimed at securing the most advantageous agreement for PIA.
