MoonSwatch 1969 Unveiled for the 57th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

Swatch has unveiled the MoonSwatch Mission to the Moon 1969 ahead of the 57th anniversary of humanity’s first landing on the Moon, developed in collaboration with Omega.
The limited-edition model draws inspiration from the Apollo 11 mission and the legacy of the Omega Speedmaster, which became closely associated with lunar missions. Its design incorporates elements reminiscent of the gold-dial Speedmaster watches presented to selected astronauts and U.S. officials at the time.
The new model features a total of 11 grams of 18K MoonShine Gold across the dial, crown, and chronograph pushers. The watch is priced at US$570, while the current market value of the gold used is estimated at around US$1,064.
A total of 1,969 pieces will be produced, referencing the year of the first Moon landing.
