Major Damage Reported at Caracas Airport Terminal Following Venezuela Earthquake

The magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes that struck Venezuela caused significant damage at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.

In addition to cracks reported on Runway 10R/28L, extensive structural damage was identified inside the passenger terminal. Footage from the airport shows parts of the terminal’s interior structure collapsing, with several sections sustaining severe damage.
