Lufthansa Group to Launch Starlink Wi-Fi Service

Lufthansa Group is preparing to introduce Starlink-powered inflight Wi-Fi across its fleet.

The new service will begin on August 19 with a Lufthansa Airbus A320neo aircraft. Free Wi-Fi access will be available to Miles & More status members and Travel ID users in all cabins.

Lufthansa Group said the satellite-based internet service will be rolled out gradually. Under the plan, Starlink-powered Wi-Fi will be available on 850 aircraft across 10 airlines within the group by 2029.

The new system aims to provide passengers with faster and more stable internet connectivity during flights.
