Antonov An-32 Makes Emergency Landing in Libya

A Libyan-registered Antonov An-32 military transport aircraft operated by a Russian crew made an emergency landing at Benghazi Airport after its left main landing gear failed to deploy.

The aircraft carried out a controlled landing, coming to a stop after the left side of the airframe made contact with the runway due to the retracted landing gear.

No injuries were reported. A technical investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the malfunction.
