Aircraft Go Around During Earthquake in Mexico

A magnitude 7.3 earthquake off the coast of Mexico’s Chiapas state briefly affected flight operations at Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City.
Following the earthquake, several aircraft on approach discontinued their landings, performed go-arounds, and entered holding before making another approach.
The earthquake was also felt in Guatemala and El Salvador. After inspections, authorities confirmed there was no damage affecting airport operations, and normal flight activities resumed shortly afterward.
