
An Air Europa Boeing 737-800 was struck by a bird during the landing phase of its Madrid–Palma de Mallorca service.
Following the incident during landing on Runway 06L at Palma de Mallorca Airport, the aircraft veered to the right after touchdown and came to a stop near the edge of the runway.
Initial information indicates that the bird strike caused damage to the nose landing gear, with one of the nose wheels also reported damaged during the occurrence.
No injuries were reported, and the aircraft was taken out of service for technical inspection.
