Flights Resume on the Damascus–Moscow Route

Syrian Airlines resumed direct services between Damascus and Moscow as of 16 August. The A320 that departed Damascus took off at 02.14 local time and landed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport at 06.44. Air links between the two capitals had been suspended on 8 December 2024.

The route will initially be operated once a week, on Sundays. The return flight is scheduled to depart at 08.10 Moscow time, with a planned flight time of 4 hours and 50 minutes.

Syrian Airlines had resumed its Damascus–Amsterdam service on 2 July and its Damascus–Medina service on 11 August
