Small Plane Crashes into House Roof in Germany

A D-EYJK registered Tecnam P2010 TDI single-engine light aircraft lost altitude for reasons yet to be determined and crashed into the roof of a detached house in a residential area in Ganderkesee, Germany.

Two people on board the aircraft, which reportedly took off from Bremen, lost their lives in the accident. Initially, the body of one person was recovered, and after hours of search and rescue operations, the second missing individual was also confirmed dead.

Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured as the residents were not inside the house at the time of the crash. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
