Emirates has begun introducing the new multi-adjustable U-Dream head support system across its Economy Class fleet.
Developed by Safran Seats, the system allows passengers to adjust both the height and angle of the headrest. Its foldable side wings are designed to provide additional head and neck support, helping passengers rest more comfortably, particularly on long-haul flights.
The U-Dream head support has initially entered service on three Airbus A350 aircraft in the Emirates fleet. The airline plans to equip its entire A350 fleet with the new system by the end of the year.
Emirates also expects its ordered Boeing 777X aircraft to be delivered with the U-Dream head support installed. From 2027 onwards, the system will be gradually integrated into refurbished Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft as part of the airline’s cabin modernisation programme.
