Frontier Airlines is preparing to introduce inflight Wi-Fi for the first time beginning in early 2027. The airline’s onboard internet service will be powered by SpaceX’s satellite-based Starlink system.
According to the company, the first Airbus aircraft equipped with Starlink hardware is expected to enter service in the opening months of 2027. The rollout will mark the introduction of inflight connectivity across Frontier’s fleet.
Four other low-cost airlines, whose combined fleets exceed 1,000 aircraft, are also expected to begin offering Starlink service in early 2027.
