10 Killed in Plane Crash in the Bahamas

Ten people, including nine passengers and one pilot, were killed after a Cessna 402 operated by Flamingo Air crashed in the Bahamas.
The aircraft had departed from Lynden Pindling International Airport for San Andros Airport when it reportedly encountered difficulties shortly after takeoff and crashed into a bushy area. One person initially survived the crash but later died from injuries.
Following the accident, the Bahamas Ministry of Transport temporarily suspended Flamingo Air’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC) as a precautionary safety measure.
Flamingo Air said it is gathering information about the accident and is fully cooperating with the relevant authorities. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
