Air France Flight Diverted to Montreal Over Suspected Ebola Concern

An Air France flight operating from France to Detroit under flight number AFR378 was diverted to Montreal, Canada, due to a health-related issue involving a passenger onboard.

According to claims, it was discovered that one of the passengers had recently traveled to areas near Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan, where Ebola outbreaks have reportedly been affecting certain regions. Under existing health protocols, passengers arriving from such areas are subject to a 21-day travel restriction.

Following the aircraft’s landing in Montreal, the passenger in question was reportedly removed from the aircraft, while the remaining passengers continued their journey to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport after security and health procedures were completed.

No official statement regarding the incident has yet been released.
