Palm Beach Airport to Be Renamed After Trump

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill to rename Palm Beach International Airport as “President Donald J. Trump International Airport.” The measure has officially taken effect following approval by the state legislature.

The renaming was proposed due to the airport’s proximity to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Supporters argue that the move reflects Trump’s ties to Florida and his political legacy.

For the change to be fully implemented, administrative updates by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are still required. The new name is expected to come into effect on July 1, 2026.
