Two United Planes Collide on the Ground at Chicago O’Hare

At Chicago O’Hare, one of the busiest airports in the United States, two United Airlines aircraft made contact on the ground. The incident involved a Boeing 737 and a Boeing 767, which lightly collided.

The Boeing 737, operating United flight #UA2652 from Jackson Hole to Chicago O’Hare, made contact with the left horizontal stabilizer of a parked Boeing 767 while taxiing after landing.

➡️ At the time of the incident, there were no passengers aboard the Boeing 767, while the #UA2652 flight carried 113 passengers and 5 crew members. No injuries were reported.

United Airlines stated that both aircraft will undergo detailed safety inspections and that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident. The FAA and NTSB have also launched their own investigations.
