Private Jet Overruns Runway During Takeoff in Las Vegas

A Dassault Falcon 50 private jet overran the runway during takeoff at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, United States, and struck the airport’s perimeter fence.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, October 18. The aircraft, registered N200SG, reportedly rejected takeoff from Runway 1L before overrunning the end of the runway and reaching the perimeter fence. Eight people were on board the Toronto-bound aircraft, and no injuries were reported.
Following the incident, Runways 1L and 1R were temporarily closed for inspection. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) implemented a temporary ground stop for flights bound for the airport, resulting in delays to numerous services.
The reason for the rejected takeoff has not yet been disclosed, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
