“Welcome to Vice City” Sign Installed by Helicopter for GTA 6 Promotion

Rockstar Games is continuing its promotional campaign in Miami for Grand Theft Auto VI and its Miami-inspired setting, Vice City. As part of the campaign, a giant “Welcome to Vice City” sign was installed on the roof of the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat. The sign was transported to the rooftop in sections by helicopter before being installed.

During the installation, the giant letters were lifted individually onto the roof by a heavy-lift helicopter, while security and emergency crews remained on standby in the area. Rockstar Games will reportedly pay approximately $975,000 for the advertising campaign at the Miami-Dade County-owned Kaseya Center.
