6 Lavatories Malfunction on American Airlines Flight🚽

American Airlines flight #AA37 from Madrid to Dallas on October 6 was diverted to New York’s John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport after six of its eight lavatories malfunctioned.
↪️With a total of 287 people on board—275 passengers and 12 crew members—the Boeing 777-200ER aircraft was left with only two operational lavatories. Due to the malfunction occurring mid-flight over the ocean, the pilots declared a PAN-PAN emergency to air traffic control and requested priority landing.
↪️The aircraft made a safe landing at JFK Airport. Following an inspection by maintenance teams, it took off approximately 3.5 hours later to continue its journey to Dallas. American Airlines confirmed the reason for the diversion and apologized to the passengers.
