World’s Largest Airlines by Annual Passenger Numbers Announced

Global aviation giants have been ranked based on their annual passenger traffic. While US-based carriers dominate the top of the list, Turkish Airlines maintains its strong position among the world’s elite, ranking 15th with 85.2 million passengers.
US Carriers Lead the Global Market
The top four spots are held by US giants. American Airlines became the world’s most preferred airline with 275.5 million passengers, followed by Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines. Europe’s leading low-cost carrier, Ryanair Group, secured the fifth spot with 206.6 million passengers, maintaining its leadership in the continent.
