Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that it will restart its Istanbul flights, which were suspended due to the closure of its Debrecen base in 2024. As part of the decision to reactivate the Debrecen base, the airline will return to regular services to Istanbul starting from the 2026 summer season.
The flights between the two cities are planned to operate three times a week as of June, and ticket sales are expected to open in the coming days.
