As the year comes to an end, Vietjet has marked a significant milestone by adding 22 new aircraft within just one month, marking the largest fleet expansion in the airline’s history.
With the latest delivery of an Airbus A321neo (VN-A580), the airline aims to strengthen its operations ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year travel peak while accelerating international network growth.
The newly added aircraft include:
- 9 Boeing jets for Vietjet Thailand
- 7 new-generation Airbus aircraft for operations in Vietnam
- 4 wet-lease aircraft to support peak-season demand
- 2 COMAC aircraft dedicated to the Côn Đảo route
During a period when many airlines are facing global aircraft shortages and supply chain delays, Vietjet’s ability to secure rapid deliveries highlights its strong financial capacity and operational resilience.
With this expansion, the airline continues to reinforce its position as one of the region’s pioneering carriers, enhancing international connectivity and contributing to economic growth between countries.
