UK Removes Pakistan from Air Safety List

The United Kingdom has removed Pakistan from its Air Safety List, paving the way for Pakistani airlines to reapply for flight operations to the UK.
With this decision, Pakistani carriers have the opportunity to resume scheduled flights to the UK for the first time in five years.
The ban was originally imposed in July 2020 following a fake pilot license scandal, which led both the UK and the European Union to suspend operations of Pakistan-based airlines. The restriction has now been officially lifted in light of improvements in safety standards.
