Turkish Low-Cost Carrier Pegasus Launches Flights to Mexico, Colombia, and the U.S. (Miami, New York)

Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines is preparing to expand its global network by entering the Latin American and North American markets. The airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Onur Dedeköylü, shared details about the company’s new destination plans and current operations.

Dedeköylü noted that Pegasus currently operates codeshare flights through Spain, saying, “We currently have domestic flights within Spain, and we also operate connecting flights to Lisbon. Our São Paulo flights in Brazil have begun. We fly to 12 destinations in Spain, and we plan to add new destinations to our network next year.”

Speaking about the airline’s plans for the Americas, Dedeköylü said, “In Latin America, we’re targeting Mexico and Colombia, and in North America, Miami and New York are in our plans. We’ve already submitted our application for the U.S., and the approval process is ongoing. Preparations for our Miami flights are nearly complete. Additionally, we’ll be adding five new destinations in Spain and Porto in Portugal to our network.”
