THY’s Podgorica Flight Returns to Istanbul After 8 Hours

Turkish Airlines flight #TK1085 from Istanbul to Podgorica, operated by an Airbus A320 (TC-JPN), was diverted to Belgrade for unknown reasons.

Passengers waited for approximately two hours in Belgrade, but due to ongoing political unrest in Serbia, they were not allowed to enter the country. The situation arose following protests triggered by a train accident in Serbia.

As a result, the aircraft and its passengers had to return to Istanbul after 8 hours, completing the journey as flight #TK6886 from Belgrade to Istanbul.
