Tense Moments at Istanbul Airport

The Boeing 777 aircraft registered PH-BQK, operating flight #KL878 from Mumbai to Amsterdam by KLM Asia, diverted to Istanbul Airport due to suspected smoke coming from the cargo compartment.

After landing, the aircraft was inspected by ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) teams. No issues were found during the inspection.

The aircraft is expected to take off again and complete its flight to Amsterdam following the checks.
