Tampa International Airport’s “No Pajamas” Post Goes Viral

Tampa International Airport (TPA) stirred social media after posting on its official X account, asking passengers not to come to the terminal wearing pajamas.
In the now-viral post, the airport wrote: “We’ve seen enough. We’ve endured enough. It’s time to ban pajamas at Tampa International Airport.” Framed as the end of a so-called “pajama party,” the message jokingly described daytime airport pajama-wearing as a “fashion crisis,” urging travelers to do their part and leave sleepwear at home. Lines such as “This madness ends today. The movement starts now” reinforced the humorous tone.
Despite the dramatic wording, the post did not signal an official dress code change. Instead, it was widely understood as an engagement-driven social media joke. TPA, known for its playful online presence, once again generated buzz—prompting both supportive reactions and plenty of tongue-in-cheek commentary from users.
