South African Air Force Aircraft Loses Door During Takeoff

The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) has confirmed that a Beech B200C Super King Air aircraft belonging to the South African Air Force lost its passenger door during takeoff from Lanseria International Airport.

The aircraft was on a maintenance check flight at the time. Following the incident, it safely diverted and landed at Air Force Base Waterkloof. No injuries were reported among those on board.

SANDF announced that a formal investigation has been launched, and a technical team has been assigned to determine the cause of the incident.
