
Scandinavian airline SAS is holding major order discussions with Boeing and Airbus for widebody aircraft, covering the Boeing 787 and 777X as well as the Airbus A350 and A330neo models.
SAS, whose current long-haul fleet consists of the Airbus A350 and A330, has updated its strategy following the closure of Russian airspace, shifting its focus to transatlantic flights and markets in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Air France-KLM’s process to take a controlling stake in SAS is also playing an important role in the company’s long-term fleet and growth plans.
