Ryanair’s Christmas Tradition Noel Day Operations Suspended Across Europe

Ireland-based low-cost airline Ryanair does not operate any commercial flights across Europe on Christmas Day, December 25.
Passengers planning to travel with Ryanair are unable to find any available flights during the booking process for that date.
This practice is based on a long-standing company tradition. Ryanair has previously stated that the primary purpose of this decision is to provide flight crews and ground staff with a full day off on Christmas Day so they can spend time with their families.
While many airlines operate reduced schedules on December 25, Ryanair’s complete suspension of operations stands out as a notable exception within the industry.
