Qatar Airways Signs Major Aircraft Deal with Boeing

Qatar-based airline Qatar Airways has signed a major agreement with American aircraft manufacturer Boeing for 160 aircraft. The deal has been recorded as the largest order in Boeing’s history. It was signed during the official visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to Qatar.

Although the details of the agreement have not yet been disclosed, it is reported that the airline has ordered additional B787 Dreamliners and B777X aircraft on top of its existing orders.

According to Trump’s statement, the total value of the deal with Boeing is approximately $200 billion. However, it is believed that this figure includes not only civil aviation orders but also military agreements.
