Qatar Airways Reports Record Profit

Qatar Airways has released its operational and financial results for the period from April 2024 to March 2025. The airline carried 43.14 million passengers during this time, marking an 8% increase compared to the previous year. A total of 196,700 flights were operated with an on-time performance rate of 86.1%. The fleet now exceeds 290 aircraft.

In cargo operations, Qatar Airways Cargo transported 3.1 million tons of freight, generating 17.83 billion Qatari riyals (USD 4.9 billion), accounting for approximately 21% of the group’s total revenue.

The group reported total revenue of 86 billion Qatari riyals (USD 23.6 billion) and a net profit of 7.85 billion Qatari riyals (USD 2.15 billion). Revenue increased by 6%, while net profit rose by 28%. Group EBITDA grew by 1.2 billion riyals (USD 0.33 billion).

Qatar Airways added four new destinations—Toronto, Hamburg, Kinshasa, and Tashkent—to its network and resumed flights to Lisbon, Venice, Abha, and Damascus. The airline’s global network now covers over 170 destinations.

The company earned seven Skytrax awards, three Business Travel Awards, and two World MICE Awards. New partnerships include Airlink, Tennis Australia, Premier Padel, MotoGP, Lyons Lions, and Starlink. The Starlink satellite internet system has been installed on 44 Boeing 777 aircraft.
