Pentagon: 140 U.S. Troops Injured in Iran Conflict

The United States Department of Defense has announced that around 140 U.S. service members have been injured during the first 10 days of the ongoing conflict with Iran.

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell stated that most of the injuries were minor and resulted from Iranian retaliatory strikes. According to the update, 108 injured troops have already returned to duty, while 8 service members remain seriously wounded and are receiving advanced medical treatment.

The Pentagon also acknowledged that earlier public statements only included the number of severely wounded personnel, meaning the overall casualty figures were higher than initially reported.

Meanwhile, under Operation Epic Fury, seven U.S. troops have been killed so far. Six of the fatalities occurred in Kuwait during an attack by an Iranian drone, while one soldier died in Saudi Arabia.
