An 89-year-old woman fell seriously ill onboard IndiGo flight #6E5028 from Mumbai to Varanasi, operated by an Airbus A320neo registered VT-IPN. A medical emergency was declared during the flight due to her deteriorating condition.
The aircraft made an emergency landing at Aurangabad Airport. Upon landing, medical teams boarded the aircraft and confirmed that the passenger had passed away. After necessary procedures were completed, the flight continued to Varanasi.
