Oman Air Launches Bus Connection from UAE to Muscat Amid Airspace Disruptions
Amid ongoing airspace closures and operational restrictions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Oman Air has introduced a temporary bus connection from the United Arab Emirates to Muscat between March 3–5.
Under the arrangement, passengers will be transported by bus from Sharjah to Muscat and then connected to their onward international flights via Muscat International Airport, which is currently operating as normal.
The ground transfer is being sold under a single ticket combined with the flight. The Sharjah–Muscat road journey takes approximately eight hours, with a transfer fee of 50 Omani rials.
With partial airport closures affecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Muscat is serving as an alternative departure point for passengers seeking scheduled international flights. A similar ground transfer solution has also reportedly been introduced by SalamAir.
