New Investments from Plaza Premium at Sabiha Gökçen

Plaza Premium Group, one of the world’s leading airport passenger service providers, has opened its fourth private passenger lounge at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the Anadolu Lounge.

Speaking to AirwayBuzz after the opening, Plaza Premium Group Vice Chairman and Deputy CEO Ali Bora İşbulan emphasized that Türkiye holds a strategic position for the group.

Stating that they have been operating at Sabiha Gökçen since 2020, İşbulan said that Plaza Premium enhances the passenger experience not only with lounges but also with integrated services such as meet & greet and fast track.

İşbulan noted that 1.2 million guests were hosted in 2025 and that investments continue to grow in line with increasing passenger demand 📊

🛬 First Class Lounge Plan

Ali Bora İşbulan said that the aim is to launch a first class lounge concept on international routes before May 2026, and that design and menu investments in the existing lounges will continue.

💳 Portpal Loyalty Program

Plaza Premium Group’s Portpal loyalty program is planned to be relaunched in 2026. It was also stated that projects related to new terminal capacity are in the preparation phase.

🌍 Türkiye Is Not Just a Market

According to İşbulan, Türkiye is not only an operational area for Plaza Premium but also an important talent hub that trains managers for projects in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

Ali Bora İşbulan emphasized that the group’s goal is not limited to lounge operations only, but to create a holistic service ecosystem with digital solutions and smart travel products.
