New In-Flight Theft Trick: Fake a Stolen Item

New Trick in In-Flight Theft Cases: If You Can’t Steal, Claim It Was Stolen | Exclusive News
👉🏼 A passenger traveling with Pegasus Airlines from Istanbul to Dubai was reported after another traveler alleged that their money had been stolen during the flight.
👉🏼 Following the claim, authorities examined the bag where the stolen cash was said to be stored and conducted a fingerprint analysis. No fingerprints belonging to the accused passenger were found. Despite this, the complaint was not withdrawn, and a travel ban on the accused remains in place.
👉🏼 The person who filed the complaint allegedly demanded money to drop the accusation. Due to the lack of onboard security cameras, it was impossible to clarify how the incident actually occurred.
👉🏼 The accused passenger, although no evidence supported the theft claims, has reportedly been unable to return to Istanbul from Dubai due to the imposed travel ban. Legal consultations with an attorney are ongoing.
🤔 In light of recent theft incidents onboard, a key question is now being raised:
Should Airplanes Be Equipped with Security Cameras?
Note: While some airlines do have in-cabin cameras, many still do not implement this practice.
