New Air Force One Livery Unveiled

The new exterior design of Air Force One has been finalized in line with U.S. President Donald Trump’s preferred red, white, and dark blue color scheme. According to a statement from the U.S. Air Force, the iconic light blue and white livery used since the John F. Kennedy era will be replaced with the new color arrangement.

The updated design will feature red, white, and dark blue tones, along with the addition of a gold stripe, introducing a fourth color to the aircraft. The American flag on the tail section is expected to be significantly larger than in the previous design. It has also been suggested that changes to the engine nacelle coloring may be linked to thermal concerns that were raised several years ago.

The new presidential aircraft is being built on a customized Boeing 747-8i platform (VC-25B) and will have a fuselage length of 76.2 meters, making it larger than the current Boeing 747-200B (VC-25A). Equipped with four GEnx-2B engines, the aircraft is expected to produce approximately 16 tons less carbon emissions per flight compared to the existing version.
