Military Parade on Trump’s Birthday to Disrupt Flights at D.C.’s National Airport

A large-scale military parade set to take place in Washington, D.C., on June 14 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army is expected to cause significant disruptions at Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). The event coincides with former President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday and is projected to impact over 100 flights and thousands of passengers.
According to FAA documents obtained by The Washington Post, all takeoffs and landings at DCA are scheduled to be completely halted between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on June 14. Some aircraft may be allowed to depart to the south after 8:45 p.m., depending on wind conditions.
