FlightOn Emirates flight #EK704 from Mauritius to Dubai, operated by the A6-EOX Airbus A380, a passenger who is a member of HSM discovered a metal piece, a few centimeters in size, in the meal served to them. The passenger immediately informed the cabin crew upon noticing the object during the meal.
The cabin crew reported the incident and, to compensate for the inconvenience, moved the passenger and their companion to the first-class section on the upper deck, offering additional refreshments. The crew also expressed their sincere apologies to the passenger and their companion for the incident.
