German airline Lufthansa Group reported a 12% year-on-year decline in net profit for the third quarter of 2025, posting €966 million, compared to €1.095 billion in the same period last year.
The company’s adjusted EBIT (operating profit) fell by 1% to €1.33 billion, slightly above analysts’ expectations of €1.32 billion previously shared by the group.
Between July and September, Lufthansa’s revenue increased by 4%, reaching €11.2 billion, up from €10.7 billion a year earlier. Analysts had forecast average revenue of around €11.04 billion for the period.
