Lawsuit Against Delta and United Over “Windowless Window Seats”

In the United States, passengers have filed a class-action lawsuit against Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. According to Reuters, the plaintiffs claim that some seats marketed as window seats on Boeing 737, 757, and Airbus A321 aircraft do not, in fact, have windows. Passengers stated that they chose these seats to enjoy a view outside or to get natural light, but were misled.

The lawsuits point out that Alaska Airlines and American Airlines have been transparent by marking similar seats with “no window,” while Delta and United allegedly withheld this information.

The plaintiffs are seeking millions of dollars in damages, as well as a court order requiring airlines to clearly indicate seats without windows.
