LATAM to Introduce Premium Economy on Boeing 787 Aircraft

👉🏻LATAM Airlines has announced plans to add a new premium economy cabin, branded as “Premium Comfort,” to its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet. The seats will be supplied by German manufacturer RECARO, with deliveries set to begin in 2027.

👉🏻With this move, LATAM will become the first Latin American carrier to offer a dedicated premium economy product on long-haul flights. The airline is investing over $100 million to retrofit all of its 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft with the new cabin. The seats will feature a 40-inch pitch, wider dimensions, adjustable privacy wings, 16-inch 4K screens, Bluetooth connectivity, USB-C fast charging, and power outlets.
