KLM to Suspend Tel Aviv Flights as of 1 March

Dutch carrier KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced that it will temporarily suspend its flights to Tel Aviv starting 1 March.

In a statement, the airline indicated that services between Amsterdam and Tel Aviv are currently not operationally and commercially sustainable under existing conditions. The decision is described as temporary, and the future of the route will be reassessed at a later stage.

KLM normally operates scheduled flights between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Ben Gurion Airport. With the suspension, passengers holding tickets will be offered rebooking options on alternative services or refunds.

In recent months, several international airlines have implemented similar capacity adjustments due to security and operational considerations in the region. KLM’s move is viewed within this broader context.

No timeline has yet been confirmed for the potential resumption of the route.
