KLM, Commissions the First Airbus A350 Simulator in the Netherlands

In preparation for the arrival of its Airbus A350 aircraft in 2026, KLM has introduced the first A350 flight simulator in the Netherlands, located at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The new simulator will allow pilots to experience the A350’s advanced cockpit systems and flight dynamics in a highly realistic environment.

Manufactured by Canadian company CAE, the device was installed at the Schiphol-East training facilities following extensive testing. KLM announced that the first group of pilots will begin training shortly.

The Airbus A350 stands out for consuming 25% less fuel and generating 40% less noise compared to previous-generation aircraft. With this investment, KLM aims to make its fleet more modern, environmentally friendly, and efficient.
