Jet Fuel Supply Disruptions Reported in Pakistan

The Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a NOTAM to airlines due to disruptions in the supply chain of Jet A-1 aviation fuel at several major airports across Pakistan.

According to the notice, airlines are requested to uplift as much fuel as possible from airports outside Pakistan and keep refueling within the country to a minimum.

The NOTAM A0147/26 applies to Jinnah International Airport in Karachi and Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

The notice came into effect on 13 March 2026 and will remain valid until 31 March 2026, with the possibility of an extension if necessary.

Authorities stated that the measure was introduced as a preventive step due to interruptions and delays in the Jet A-1 fuel supply chain.
