IndiGo Aircraft Hits Vulture

An IndiGo flight operating from Patna to Ranchi collided with a vulture at an altitude of approximately 3,000 to 4,000 feet shortly before landing. Following the incident, the aircraft made an emergency landing at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi.

Airport officials reported that the aircraft was around 10–12 nautical miles from the city center at the time of the incident. It was confirmed that the plane landed safely and no issues were reported.
