Incident During Pushback at FRA:Pegasus Aircraft Damaged, Personnel Injured, Replacement Aircraft En Route

Pegasus Airlines’ Airbus A320neo aircraft, registered as TC-NCD, which was scheduled to operate flight #PC5036 from Frankfurt to Antalya, was damaged during pushback. According to claims, the accident occurred due to an incorrect maneuver by the pushback operator.

It was reported that the operations staff member (headset) responsible for communication between the captain and the operator during the pushback process was taken to the hospital due to the impact. The aircraft also sustained physical damage.

To prevent passenger inconvenience, Pegasus Airlines dispatched a replacement aircraft to Frankfurt. It was announced that there were no injuries among the passengers or flight crew. An A320 aircraft, registered as TC-NBM, took off from Sabiha Gökçen with the flight code #PC55 to pick up the passengers.
